Job Description:

This position facilitates the daily production of 02 cylinders at Intermountain Homecare and Hospice. They are responsible to collaborate and coordinate with internal customers daily to ensure that production is sufficient to meet patient demand. They process, fill, and test oxygen cylinders in accordance with government / regulatory guidelines and Intermountain Policy. Ensures proper and efficient storage and rotation of cylinders for required hydro testing. Performs daily, biweekly, and annual inspections of the Intermountain Homecare and Hospice Transfill system.

Schedule: Monday - FridayHours: 8:00am - 5:00pm


One week out of six there is after hours call and this includes weekends.  Normal hours are 8-5 M-F.

Position Summary

In this position, the Rehab Technician I provides the customer product and educational services in the areas of wheeled mobility, seating and alternative positioning, ambulation assistance, environmental controls, augmented communication and activities of daily living assistive devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service·Offers the customer/patient/consumer/care giver product choices and assists them with ordering, assembling, adjusting, modifying, delivering, proper use of, demonstration of and providing ongoing support and service for their medical equipment and supplies·Repairs rental and customer-owned equipment

Supply Responsibilities

·Monitors supply usage and modifies reorder points to meet demands.·Rotates stock and tracks perpetual and capital inventory in computer system·Assists with ordering and receiving of all specialty rehab equipment and supplies.Billing·Assists the billing department in recertifying patients, assuring CMN and prescriptions are completed·Provides information to the billing system to expedite third party reimbursement and follow-up denialsCompletes all initial reimbursement documents on rental and sales done


Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment- Valid MT Drivers License, a clean driving record, and ability to show proof of insurability annually

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$16.83 - $21.88
