Description

As the Home Mortgage Loss Mitigation Decisioning Specialist, you will perform reconciliation process on files received from Front End Fulfillment Group by going into the loan system. The Front End Fulfillment group will send task to Decisioning, Decisioning acknowledges receipt of file and reviews file for complete documentation.

Primary responsibilities include

Analyze property valuations to determine loss exposure.Complete steps within the decisioning process work flow within assigned timelines to ensure maximum customer experience.Handle inbound calls from customers with questions related to their specific work out process.Ensure all regulatory requirements are met for each account within the Work out process.Assists management with forecasting pipeline volumes, loan losses, and delinquency based upon closed workouts.Analyze financial information to determine most effective work out strategy.Reviews financial data reported for accuracy i.e.: does the customer reported data match actual financials.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Knowledge of investor requirements governing mortgage collections and Federal/State laws (e.g. Fair Debt collections act, privacy act, fair lending).Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA and/or FHA decisioning preferredKnowledge of MSP, ALS, and FileNetMortgage/Default, 2+ Years Mortgage Investor 1+ Years Excellent oral communications; counseling and persuasion skillsExcellent data entry and typing skillsMath aptitudeExcellent organization skillsMake independent decisions and exercise sound judgmentOrganized work habitsAbility to perform in a production environment and meet monthly operation metric goalsExcellent analytical skillsHigh level communications skills when dealing with outside entitiesExcellent time management skillsGoal drivenProblem solver (demonstrated analytical / research skills)Strong decision making skillsDetail orientedProficient product and service knowledgeStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization skillsStrong PC SkillsBachelor Degree, Preferred

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, in office position located in Glen Allen, VA
