The Home Mortgage Operations Execution Sr Professional works closely with Sales/Operations colleagues and leaders, Portfolio Administration, Credit Administration, Product Support, Quality Control, Investor Relations, Risk, Legal and Technology teams to drive quality, efficiency and consistency in Operations/Underwriting while keeping the customer at the center of all we do. You will update leaders and peers on key business changes, quantify data, logistics, and project information. Lastly, you will develop and implement operational strategy by creating, deploying and measuring processes while ensuring that the results are monitored. Primary responsibilities include
+ Primary focus of role is on day-to-day underwriting and operational execution, with occasional contribution to broader planning within area of expertise.
+ Oversees and monitors underwriting and operational quality to ensure adherence to guidelines and procedures and provides feedback to colleagues and management
+ Performs targeted quality oversight in scenarios where negative attribute or underwriter trends exist.
+ Helps to identify and improve defect trends in loan delivery, government insuring and/or post-closing
+ Serves as point of escalation for questions internally and works with Underwriting Director to disseminate learnings more broadly.
+ Serves as subject matter expert for Retail/Correspondent origination systems to identify areas of opportunity, including monitoring applicable manual processes
+ Supports management in their efforts to improve loan quality and operational efficiency
+ Provides support on process improvements, procedural updates and technical implementation of business strategies.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
+ Minimum 5-8 years Underwriting Experience
+ Portfolio and Jumbo experience required
+ Management experience preferred
+ Thorough knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA Underwriting Guidelines, DE Required (LAPP preferred)
Hours & Work Schedule
+ Hours per Week: 40
+ Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
The salary range for this position is $86,000 - $115,000/year. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
