We invite you to join us and experience the rewards of bringing a smile to our customers’ faces every day. **Job Summary:** The Home Warranty Representative is responsible for assessing homeowner needs and developing HVAC comfort solutions for newly sold homes. This position involves building rapport with customers, reviewing equipment, offering essential home care, and maintaining a closing ratio on leads. The representative will manage multiple opportunities and play a key role in providing customer satisfaction, offering service agreements, and enhancing HVAC systems. **Essential Duties/Responsibilities*:** + Attend all assigned appointments at the scheduled time and ensure punctuality for each appointment. + Review HVAC equipment installed by the company, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. + Establish rapport with customers by recognizing and addressing their needs. + Foster long-term relationships with customers to encourage future business opportunities. + Offer HVAC solutions to improve the systems installed by the company, including service agreements and upgrades. + Maintain a 30% closing ratio on initial leads. + Review HVAC manufacturer warranties and ensure equipment registration is completed or updated on-site with the customer. + Offer Essential Home Care at each appointment when not covered by the builder and explain its benefits when included in the builder’s coverage. + Carry out daily responsibilities with integrity while maintaining a positive attitude toward customers and team members. + Ensure 100% customer satisfaction at all times. + Prepare detailed estimates for contracts and proposals. + Follow up on sales leads and maintain ongoing communication with potential customers. + Manage multiple opportunities, particularly focused on selling service agreements and system enhancements. + Sell, renew, and expand service agreements for both new and existing customers. + Follow all company policies and safety procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned. _* Duties may vary by location._ **Minimum Requirements:** + 1+ years of experience in outside sales. + High school diploma or GED. + Proven track record of sales success. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). + Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills. + Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing. + Strong presentation skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Valid driver’s license. + Ability to work overtime with little notice _;_ weekends hours may occasionally be required. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 3+ years of experience in outside sales. + Experience in in-home service agreement sales and presentations. + Knowledge of HVAC equipment. + Bilingual (English/Spanish). + Completed college coursework. **Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Consultative and collaborative selling approach. + Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate a large volume of requests. + Proactive mindset and ability to work independently. + Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning about HVAC systems. + Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to collaborate across the organization. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Able to work in a fast-paced environment + Ability to build positive relationships with customers, both internal and external + Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization + Safety mindset and acceptance of a safety culture **Working Conditions:** + Split time between an office environment and customer homes. + Travel to and from work locations by vehicle. + Able to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions while wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently. + Must be able to drive and operate a motorized vehicle. + Frequent bending, crawling, kneeling, crouching, and climbing. + Ability to work at heights and use ladders or scaffolding with fall protection. + Must wear required PPE + Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting + Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other office equipment safely. + With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception + Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others + Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad + Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and tools Airtron is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
