The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing one-on-one services to clients and assisting in the implementation of consumer goals as outlined within the client’s support plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in the implementation of written goals from the treatment planInstructs and reinforces target goal outcomes according to consumerAccurately notes consumer responses and results to staff; interventions and assessment via proper documentationMaintains appropriate professional conductAssists in the development of consumer treatment plan and goalsPerforms other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED requiredCPR/BCLS certification requiredTB screeningTraining treatment planActive driver’s license in the event transportation is taking place ( as applicable)Excellent communication skillsProficiency in the English language requiredTechnological proficiency including mobile devices for documentationMust be at least 18 years of age
