The Homelessness Solutions Director is an at-will position which is exempt from the provisions of the Civil Service Ordinance. The Homelessness Solutions Director will play a key role in addressing homelessness challenges and implementing comprehensive solutions to prevent and end homelessness within the County of Ventura. This position requires a dynamic leader to foster and manage relationships with community organizations and regional partners, lead the implementation of interagency coordination, and develop and implement programs aligned with strategic countywide goals. Under direction of the Senior Deputy Executive Officer, the Director supervises staff responsible for funding administration and serves as the primary representative in meetings with senior staff, elected officials, and policy-makers on homelessness-related issues.
