Your Role

 

We are looking for a dynamic individual with attention to detail and enthusiasm to continue to improve accommodation standards and increase customer satisfaction. You will work together with the Accommodation team ensuring that all our admin and documents are up to date for host families and staff, in accordance with EF policy and British Council.

 

Ensuring an elevated level of record-keeping in a fast-paced environment will be one of your highest priorities. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with host families and help them complete all paperwork by phone or when visiting hosts. Ensuring the quality of our accommodation provision to our customers will be an essential part of the role.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Meets compliance targets while enhancing the quality of homestay provisionMaintains an adequate supply of homestay beds to accommodate peak-season demandConfirms all documentation is complete following host family visits and throughout registrationVerifies hosts are properly vetted when accommodating students under 18Processes all background checksEnsure all health and safety requirements, accreditation and local laws are adhered toSends weekly statistics to the Homestay ManagerRaises any concerns to the Homestay Manager Assists in re-registering existing families once a yearEnsures any communication with students and hosts is logged Promotes the best image of the school in the local community through contact with local hosts, suppliers, and other community contacts Shares emergency on call duties with other school staff

 

 

Requirements

 

Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable and outgoing personalityFriendly and approachable manner, not afraid to speak to strangersHighly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervisedA flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essentialAbility to handle difficult situations with ease and acts positively under pressurePassionate about providing outstanding customer serviceHave the right to live and work in the UKAll offers are subject to a clear DBS check and two references
