**Job Title: 1st Shift Honing Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators for our 1st and 2nd shifts. The role involves operating honing or lapping machines, which are older models, so comfort with such equipment is essential. This is an entry-level position with a focus on repetitive tasks and a high degree of attention to detail. **Responsibilities** + Operate honing or lapping machines to process small metal parts + Stand in one spot for long periods while performing repetitive tasks + Check parts using no-go gauges and perform basic math calculations + Document basic numbers and data accurately + Ensure high attention to detail while handling smaller parts **Essential Skills** + Comfortable working around older grinding machines + No allergies to the oil used in the machines + Ability to perform repetitive work while standing in one spot + Experience with small parts handling **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in machine operating or manufacturing + CNC or grinding experience is a plus + Understanding of numbers and measurements + Experience with gages is advantageous **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned job shop that values internal promotion and offers opportunities for growth.
