Fillauer is hiring a Hook Fabrication Specialist to perform post-machining work on prosthetic hooks and their components in Chattanooga, TN.

Your Impact Performs finishing work, including sanding, aligning, and vulcanizing hook fingersUtilize belt sander, hydraulic press, grinder, heat treat oven and other equipment as required for jobInterprets work orders and other verbal or written instructionsMeets job deadlines and ensures continuous process flowDocuments actions by electronically recording labor and materials for each jobEnsures quality standards are metVerifies specifications by measuring and testing completed componentsIdentifies any defective items and handles according to established proceduresResolves production problems by communicating with peers or supervisorsMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company standards Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalentExperience using basic shop hand toolsGood understanding of quality control principlesMust be detail focusedAbility to work well independently and in a team environment Must possess good communication skillsHighly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure

Physical Requirements: 

Ability to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:
