Weyerhaeuser’s Coos Bay Timberlands operation, based out of Coos Bay, OR has an opening for a Hook Tender. We are seeking individuals who desire to work in a market-focused logging environment. This is a full-time, hourly position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k plans, vacation, and holidays. The rate of pay is $37.370 per hour.

Key Functions:

Safely and competently coordinate logging operationsExpected to make daily adjustments to maximize logging system output as dictated by business needs (weather, labor, truck availability, etc.)Safely and competently operate the tailhold cat or tailhold shovel on various slopes and soilsPerform and assist on equipment inspections and fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as they develop
