KBR is looking for a journeyman-level software engineer to support the horizontal integration of multiple USAF open architecture standards. Our team leads the charge in USAF open architecture development, maturation and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessments: Prototype and assess feasibility of horizontal integration efforts across open reference architecturesCoordination: Coordinate experiments, assure complimentary lines of effort, and produce final leadership-level outbriefs of experimentation results to inform horizontal integration decision makingBreak up scope of broad cross-cutting activities into prototype-based work to reduce risk and identify opportunities across open architectures and standardsTechnical Leadership: Act as the technical owner of the Air Dominance Government Reference Architecture (GRA) Starter Kit which includes: MBSE model, documentation, and reference softwarePerform technical leadership of an industry consortium as a CLIN leadWork Environment:

Required:
Education: BS in a technical field (Prefer computer science or electrical engineering)3+ years in software developmentExperience with C++ development in a Linux environmentExperience with MBSE and DevSecOps toolflows and design activitiesExperience with modern commercial software development practices using tools like GitLab, Jira, Artifactory, and NexusExperience with collaborative software development in either open source or professional team environments.Preferred:
