It’s our calling and commitment. **Overview:** We are looking for that special **Hospice Care Consultant** to join our team. + Reports directly to the Business Development Manager. + Educates families and local healthcare partners in the local community. + You will be the driving force in the community that impacts hospice referrals by developing key relationships with healthcare professionals, senior care facilities, and families. + You will present at huddles to educate our healthcare partners on hospice services. + You will have the autonomy to create your own schedule and marketing plan. + You will develop meaningful relationships with internal key contacts and opinion leaders including program directors/managers, nurse managers, office staff and others. + You may educate on hospice in the patient home and may complete hospice admission forms. + Coordinates physician and provider educational visits to internal and external physicians and staff. **Key Success Factors:** + Proven track record in marketing or sales preferably in hospice or healthcare industry + Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work and perform individually and as a trusted team member + A “heart” for end-of-life care; having empathy for patients and their families + Known and respected within your community **Benefits -** Our competitive benefits package includes the following + Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits + 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% + Tuition Reimbursement + PTO accrual beginning Day 1 _Note: Benefits may vary based upon position type and/or level_ **QUALIFICATIONS** + EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualifications + EXPERIENCE - 1 year of experience As a health care system committed to improving the health of those we serve, we are asking our employees to model the same behaviours that we promote to our patients.
