Clinical Education Specialist - RN for Community Hospice!
The Community Hospice has an exciting opportunity for an RN to work as a Nurse Educator working OnSite at the Hospice Office. The Nurse Educator works as part of a team to support our field clinicians through education, clinical mentoring, coaching and Quality-driven activities.
This position is exempt, working 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday) – schedule is primarily days but may require an occasional evening or weekend educational session with our colleagues.

In conjunction with the Hospice leadership team, you will help to design, implement, and provide training to Hospice team members.Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include development and oversight of clinical, quality and educational programs and activities.Facilitate clinical activities for all colleagues including orientation, EMR training and documentation, Pharmacy benefit manager training and assistance, policies, procedures, competency validation, and mandatory education.In addition this position will perform chart audits to maintain compliance.What you will need:
NYS RN LicensureBachelor’s degree in a health related field, Master’s Degree preferred.Minimum of 2 yrs RN experience requiredStrong communication skills and ability to prepare and present materials to a group.Previous hospice and/or educational experience a plus!Hospice provides a very robust orientation program and is willing to train the right candidate!

Pay Range: $38.70-$52.10 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.”
