Medical and dental benefits Short- and long-term disabilityLife insurancePaid time off401(k) programFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Vendor discounts Responsibilities Works closely with Regional Compliance Directors to ensure activities of the Compliance Workplan are completed accurately and timelyFollows the auditing plan and work closely with Quality and Compliance to ensure documentation meets both regulatory and agency standardsCompletes work timely, submitting completed work in coordination with Compliance Work plan and the compliance record keeping structureCommunicates identified billing risks and audit results to Regional Compliance DirectorParticipates in agency education to ensure understanding of expectations relevant to audit findingsCreates a positive working relationship with other departments with the goal of sharing information to improve compliance and process within local agenciesAssists as needed with QAPI activities and data gathering, supporting the agencies as needed to ensure policies are followedHelps Regional Compliance Directors, as needed, with onsite visits for education or compliance reviewMaintains current knowledge related to Medicare Conditions of Participation and the Community Health Accreditation Program’s (CHAP) standards to ensure that the organization is compliant with state, federal, and accreditation guidelinesAssumes responsibility for ensuring policies and procedures reflect all related local, state, federal and CHAP standards, and recommend policy changes to the governing boardAdditional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in assigned state(s)Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing preferredThree years’ experience in clinical nursing, hospice experience preferredTwo years of experience in compliance, internal audit, basic law or paralegal strongly preferredExcellent understanding of compliance, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and understanding of medical documentation standardsAbility to manage highly confidential informationAnalytical skills with ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsMeticulous attention to detailSelf-director and ability to work with minimal supervision About our Line of Business BrightSpring Health Services provides complementary and integrated home- and community-based pharmacy and health solutions for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care.
