Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing the leadership for all education and training activities for Mercy Hospice (and Mercy Home Care as time or need may allow). Responsibilities include primary responsibility for orientation, and evaluation of all new clinical staff, and support for the orientation and training of all non-clinical staff. This position directs all ongoing training activities in the agency and develops and monitors the orientation.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

2 years experience in Hospice. 1 year experience with Health Care information system.BSN requiredRN license required

Preferred Qualifications: 

Supervisory Hospice experience. Health care information systems, in a home health setting.
Masters degree in Nursing or a related field
