Hospice Medical Director

Offer Based on Years of Experience What You Need to Know Medical Director - Responsibilities The Medical Director will be the physician executive leader for the program and the supervisor of all non-field, medical personnel. Providing education to the interdisciplinary care team as needed. Will participate in the process to recruit, interview, inspire, and hire new physicians and nurse practitioners. In partnership with the office manager, the Medical Director will optimize patient care coverage and medical staff scheduling. The Medical Director will be part of the leadership team to support the survey process and ensure the site meets regulatory requirements. The Medical Director will represent AccentCare to the community in partnership with the Executive Director and business development teams. If the Medical Director also has patient care responsibilities these will be reviewed in the interview process. The AccentCare Medical Group expectation is that the Medical Director will exemplify what it means to be part of a care team and will lead the community around end-of-life issues. Qualifications Hospice Medical Director Qualifications: Maintains an active license and DEA in the state where care is being provided.
