The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a FT RN to work as part of our Hospice Care Team caring for patients and families in local Nursing Homes in Schenectady County.
Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p

As an RN you will case manage patients in the Nursing home setting and respond to symptom management needs of our Hospice patients and coordinate with our team to provide added support to residents and families.Work days are Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. NO WEEKENDS!RN must oversee and be collaborative with the nursing home in the care of the hospice patientWhat you will need:
A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New YorkAssociates Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred1 year experience as an RN required. 1-2 years long term care experience preferred Previous hospice experience preferred but NOT required.Valid Driver's License and Reliable vehicleThe RN must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and writtenHigh level of interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians, and coworkersCommunity Hospice provides a thorough orientation, preceptors and a supportive work environment.

Pay Range: $35.00-$47.75
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
