Under the direction of the Hospice Director or designee and on order of the physician is accountable for direct and indirect quality care for patients and families of all ages, according to the individualized needs of the patient, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.  Accepts professional development as an integral part of nursing practice.

Required qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License  Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in Oncology, Hospice, or Long term Care.
