As a Hospital Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of veterinarians, technical, and service-based associates. To be successful in this role you will need to embrace the vision of our doctor team, have a deep understanding of veterinary medicine, be resilient and open to change, bring a positive attitude every day, and commit to the ongoing support of our people.
What you’ll do
In-hospital position requiring 5 days per week, with occasional SaturdaysAs a Hospital Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of veterinarians, technical, and service-based associates along with a boarding facilityYou will direct the implementation of a new and innovative veterinary experienceTo be successful in this role you will need to embrace the vision, adopt new ways of working, bring a positive attitude, and commit to the support of our veterinarians and their support teamsTrain, engage and retain top performing associatesDeliver on hospital operational performance, including but not limited to financials, people metrics and client experience standardsBuild a high-volume business through various marketing methods and collaboration with the communityDeliver value to clients by creating an efficient and caring environmentDeliver value to associates by creating an operational environment with high psychological safety, trust, and inclusion as cultural tenantsLead all associates with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitudeHold all hospital associates accountable for performance standards and respectful communication conductRaise awareness and promote a collaborative relationship with internal and external stakeholdersQualifications
5+ years of veterinary hospital/clinic experience preferred3.5+ years of people management experience requiredDemonstrated experience driving organizational changeAction oriented, independent, self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to manage multiple and time-sensitive priorities simultaneously with a keen eye for inefficienciesWillingness and ability to grow the business through various marketing and business development methodsAbility to establish credibility, trust, and respect with veterinarians and other medical professionalsProven leadership skills including accountability, follow-through, and clear communicationExcellent written/verbal communication skills, and ability to work with diverse personality typesOperational grit - the passion and perseverance to focus on long term goals when faced with set backs and adversityIf you are a current associate, you will need to apply through our internal career site.
