Position Highlights

Hospital Medicine Per Diem AP position, located at the Worcester Medical Center (Saint Vincent Hospital- SVH) Possible shifts are 1p-11p, 2p-2a or 8p-8a, depending on group's needs, overlapping with other APs as well. Works with Hospitalist physicians' supervision for ER sign outs and admissions, cross coverage in the evening as needed SVH also has IM Residency program with residents covering the more acutely ill patients Closed ICU, PCU. Code team, rapid response teams available at SVH Strong Acute Care Hospital Program providing 24/7 access to our Reliant patients, since 1997 Dedicated practice management systems in place EMRs: Epic system for Reliant, Cerner system for SVH Supervising physician: Dr Dhinager Nandagopal, MD Paid as hourly rate depending on weekday/weekends/holidays

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree Physician Assistant program, Masters level preferred National Board Certification Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts board of registration  Maintains BLS certification, professional certification as appropriate  New graduates welcome to apply!

 

Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in EMR systems & technology Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
