Summary

In the absence of Hospital Administration and other members of the Leadership Team, assumes responsibility for coordinating activities related to overall Hospital operations.  Serves as a liaison to all Hospital departments and staff to ensure quality service to all customers, reflecting the mission, vision, goals and philosophy of Northwest Hospital and the Department of Nursing. The Hospital Operations Coordinator manages patient and staff flow, allocating the proper amount of staff to each unit and managing patient flow through those units. This position is also responsible for responding to hospital emergencies.

 REQUIREMENTS:

 BSN from an accredited nursing school required 5-7 years of RN experience At least 2 years of management experience required (Charge Nurse or Clinical Leaders can be considered) Maryland RN license Basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree Working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field American Heart Association CPR certification, and ACLS required.
