This is a Hospital Pharmacy Position, No Long-Term Care experience required!
Advanced degree in Pharmacy requiredMaster of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D preferred(3) years of experience in discipline is preferredTen years of experience in discipline preferredKnowledge of principals related to pharmaceutical preparation and practicesLicensed Pharmacist listed by the State Board of PharmacyTwo years’ experience as a pharmacistMinimum one year management experienceStrong leadership skillsThe unique opportunity offers a hybrid of community retail with rural institutional experience.
The retail portion is considered low volume with the opportunity to maximize patient outreach in many different ways, including, but not limited to MTM, diabetes clinics, assisting elderly patients to select Medicare plans suited to their individual needs.
The institutional aspect allows pharmacists to provide inpatient care, direct P&T meetings, and participate in Quality Improvement programs in an intimate setting.
This is an excellent practice for the pharmacist who still enjoys interacting with patients and desires a setting to use and expand their clinical knowledge. The candidate will also have access to resources and is supported by a local designated Senior Director of Operations with the PharMerica Hospital Services Division.
The position is offered at full time Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with an hour lunch.
Salary Range USD $70.00 - $80.00 / Hour
