Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Hospitality Associate in NEW YORK, New York. This role involves tasks related to the hospitality and catering industry, specifically in the context of maintaining order, cleanliness, and inventory in the kitchen and catering areas, and setting up conference rooms for daily schedules. Responsibilities: • Ensuring the efficient setup of conference rooms, including the arrangement of furniture and audio/visual equipment based on the daily schedule. • Handling the cleanup process after the use of conference rooms, including returning any property to vendors as needed. • Overseeing the maintenance of cleanliness and order in both the kitchen and catering areas. • Managing the inventory of catering supplies to ensure adequate stock levels. • Exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and handle their inquiries. • Demonstrating the ability to prioritize work to balance between multiple projects and deadlines. Requirements • Proficiency in hiring processes to ensure the recruitment of high-quality staff. • Ability to manage and negotiate with vendors to secure best prices and services. • Comprehensive knowledge of property management and maintenance to ensure a pleasant environment for guests. • Familiarity with configuration management to maintain and improve the efficiency of operations. • Experience in catering, including planning and executing various types of events. • Excellent written communication skills for clear and effective correspondence with clients and colleagues. • Capability to manage a daily schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner. • Knowledge of managing conference rooms, including scheduling and setup for different events. • Understanding of employee perks and benefits to attract and retain high-quality staff.
