Job Responsibility:
• Answers or relays patient questions or concerns to the appropriate nursing staff.
• Provides emotional support and comfort care to patients and family members by giving personalized attention, minimizing patient anxiety and boosting patient and family member's morale.
• Implements Service Recovery program for patients and families.
• Ensures patient identification verification through continuous wristband checks.
• Maintains and updates patient communication boards with patient diet information.
• Collaborates with the Food & Nutrition Department and distributes and collects
• Observes patient eating patterns and monitors diabetic patient food consumption and reports patients at high risk for hypoglycemia to the nursing staff.
• Supports to deliver the best Hospitality Care to patients and guests by way of Nutrition/Meal Assistance, as well as communicating patient and visitor issues to other departments.
• Reviews diet listings before each meal with the nursing staff to ensure correct patient diet orders and NPO adherence.
• Observes patient eating patterns and monitors diabetic patient food consumption and reports patients at high risk for hypoglycemia to the nursing staff.
• Requests Silver Spoon Service as needed
Job Qualification
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
