We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Onboarding Coordinator/Recruiter to join our team on a contract basis for 5 months. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for 2,500 new hires across Canada and the US while also driving recruitment efforts for Grouse Mountain Lodge in Montana. 

 

This position will be based in Denver to collaborate closely with our payroll team and support system onboarding through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role is supported by and will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Team, HRIS team, and Payroll Team.  

When does this adventure begin?

February 3rd through end of June. 

What will you do in this job?

Onboarding (50%)

Facilitate onboarding processes for all new hires using ATS and HRIS systems.Ensure timely and accurate entry of employee data into ATS and HRIS platforms.Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to address system-related queries and issues.Maintain compliance with regional labor laws and company policies during onboarding.Facilitate background checks as required.Maintain required onboarding package documents in the ATS.

Recruitment (50%)

Recruit and screen candidates for roles at Grouse Mountain Lodge, including maintenance, front desk, and food & beverage.Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and align recruitment strategies.Manage job postings, candidate communication, and interview scheduling.Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to meet hiring goals.

Other duties as assigned. 

What skills and experience do you need for this job? Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, or HR coordination, preferably in the hospitality industry.Familiarity with ATS and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Taleo, etc.).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage high-volume hiring and prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of labor laws in Canada and the US is a plus.  What will your work environment be like?
