Hospitality Program Leader

Victor US is one of the largest and most experienced underwriting managers of specialty insurance programs in the world and a subsidiary of Marsh.  Victor US markets its solutions through a large distribution network of licensed insurance agents and brokers. 

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Program Leader to join our dynamic team at Victor. Although this position is based in the East Coast, it is also open to being remote.

Hospitality Program Leader

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in underwriting and leadership roles in the Hospitality space, demonstrating a strong understanding of the insurance landscape and the specific challenges faced by hospitality businesses. This role will be instrumental in creating, managing, and enhancing our hospitality insurance programs, ensuring they align with industry standards and client expectations.

We will count on you to:

Develop and implement innovative insurance programs tailored to the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and other related businesses.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the hospitality sector.

Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and risk management teams to ensure comprehensive program offerings.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, capital partners and industry stakeholders to promote program awareness and growth.

Monitor program performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements and enhancements.

Drive efficiencies and process improvements with a digital focus

Lead training sessions and workshops for internal teams and clients to ensure understanding of program features and benefits.

Stay current with industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

What you need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field

Minimum of 10 years of experience in underwriting and management within the hospitality insurance sector.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

Experience with digital platforms and driving results through automation

What makes you stand out?

Advanced degree or professional designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM) preferred.

Program experience building or leading teams in the Hospitality space.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $129,000 to $275,300.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
