SUMMARY: The Host Person/Cashier is responsible for the proper rotational seating of guests when they enter the restaurant and the accurate payment of all guest checks when they leave.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and seat guests in station in a rotational manner. Be able to answer guest questions regarding the restaurant outlet and menu items. Alert the necessary Manager if there are any guest issues, special needs situations, or other situations. Answer phone calls and take restaurant reservations, if applicable. Takes receipt and payment from guest, processes payment, and returns correct change/credit card receipt. Provide friendly and courteous service to guests. Maintains the house bank issued to them, accounting for money in the bank at all times. Maintains working knowledge of every register in the outlet. Completes all reports required for end-of-shift. Other related duties as assigned. Must be available for scheduled work. Must exhibit the Family Style Service model at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Three to six months of related experience and/or training in a similar food outlet, hotel or casino atmosphere.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and be able to maintain a current Health Card, AES card, or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
