JOB DESCRIPTION
ResponsibilitiesThe Casino Host is responsible for generating customer awareness of the Wild Card Rewards program and upcoming special events & promotions. This will be achieved through interactions with players on the casino floor, at special events, and promotions; as well as through phone and email contact methods.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Oversees, solicits, and identifies new gaming customers for the Players Club ProgramDemonstrates exceptional guest courtesy to both internal and external customers with every interactionProvides timely and accurate enrollment into the Seminole Players Club program both at the PC desk and on the floorAssists guests with promotional offers as received via direct mail or other advertisingEnsure all policies and procedures are followed with all required paperwork completed and filed accuratelyHandle crowd control effectively with consideration for our guestsAnnounce drawings, events and special promotions on the public address system Qualifications Bachelors degree preferred and/or combination of education and work experienceMinimum of 6 months of experience as a VIP Service Host, Casino Host, or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of guest service experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in casino and/or hotel environment requiredProficient knowledge of CMP & LMS programs requiredProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word requiredExperience in gaming machines and/or table games preferredMust have exceptional guest service skillsMust have the ability to resolve stressful situationsMust be able to make sound complimentary decisions based on tracked customer playAbility to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidaysMust conduct themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and proceduresWork Environment:
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noiseThis position requires frequent standing and walking and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
