THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Host Person to greet guests in a courteous, timely, and professional manner while ensuring his/her outlet is clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times.

THE STARTING RATE: $21.25 + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurantMaintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities and in-house groups, daily house count, table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code of the restaurantAnswer phones, keep accurate count of reservations and handle reservation bookEnsure menus have proper inserts and are current according to the most recent change, and replace all menus in poor conditionFrequently check back with guests who are waiting to be seated; make it evident to guests that they have not been forgotten and that tables are being prepared for themMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas; shut down podium and forward phones to voice-loop at end of shift

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

Ability to work varied schedule, including weekends and holidays

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

Working knowledge of SevenRooms, Open Table or similar platformOne year experience as a host person
