THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Host Person to greet guests in a courteous, timely, and professional manner while ensuring his/her outlet is clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times. The Host Person is to assist the Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Service Runners as it relates to guest contact and table information.

THE STARTING RATE:
$18.75 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Coordinate with Reservations for special orders, cake orders, and any special guest requests, and communicate these to management.Stay informed about daily events, in-house groups, restaurant table and seating arrangements, setup, room capacity, hours, pricing, and dress code.Greet guests promptly as they arrive at the restaurant.Answer phones, manage reservations, and keep an accurate reservation log.Ensure menus are up-to-date with current inserts and replace any worn or damaged menus.Communicate guest needs to the kitchen and management; share guest feedback and help management provide quality service.Regularly check in with guests waiting for tables to keep them updated and ensure they feel attended to.Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized; at shift’s end, close down the podium and forward calls to voicemail.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

At least 2 years of prior relevant experienceAbility to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysCustomer service orientedAbility to handle multiple tasks at once.Strong attention to detail.

Pay Rate

The starting rate for this role is:

$19.88

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
