Temp-to-Hire position$25.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:15pm to 10:45pm)Set up and operate various progressive header machines to perform operations such as forming, shaping, cutting, and piercing on metal wire and bar stock.Read blueprints and documentation to visualize machining requirements and plan the sequence of operations.Check initial parts and apply SPC principles during production runs to maintain quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to machine settingsLoad wire or bar stock into machines, position and secure it, and verify feed positions.Select machine speed, tooling, and other variables to optimize production efficiency. Perform troubleshooting and rework on machines and tooling as required.Hot Header Operator Qualifications:
3 years of experience in the complex set-up and operation of Hot Header machines and related tools.Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering diagrams.Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs on machines and tooling.Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
