Basic Job Functions:

​The Hot Mill Shift Supervisor will lead the Hot Mill efforts to become the world’s safest steel company. This position is an integral member of the Hot Mill leadership team and will be responsible for leading the efforts to continually improve our safety, profitability, and team member development. This will include promoting a culture of ownership, engagement, and teamwork working with other departments to ensure consistency and long term success of the division. Able to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends and holidays.
 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 1 yr previous supervisory or leadership experience Preferred Qualifications:

Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
