The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing the highest quality of service possible to guests in an efficient and courteous manner within the complimentary breakfast area of a hotel. In addition this individual shall be well-versed on the hotel-brand standards guest expectations and the and unique characteristics of the hotel and local area.
ResponsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:
Detail-oriented, quick, and accurate in job performanceHigh school diploma or related experience preferredFlexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysLegal age to serve alcohol and complete responsible serving course (e.g., TIPs)Obtain and provide Food Handlers card as requiredQuick and accurate decision-making skillsCalm and professional under stressUnderstanding of hotel products and guest servicesPositive attitude and willingness to learn and support team membersRESPONSIBILITIES (to include but are not limited to:)
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service oriented manner.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm friendly courteous and professional manner; ascertain which services could enhance the guests’ stayClear clean and reset tables/hotel spaces per client request or management instructionEnsuring that food and service areas are stocked organized clean and neat and all side work is complete each shiftCommunicate with all departments regarding in house VIPs and any special requests/needsSupport all areas of the beverage and food service as necessary including washing dishes by hand and/or placing them in a dishwashing machine restocking dishes glassware utensils pots and pans or other necessary equipment sweeping and mopping floors washing work tables walls refrigerators and meat blocks moving trash and garbage to designated areasPerform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation assignment.Answer questions about the hotel the hotel-brand standards guest expectations the unique characteristics of the hotel local area attractions and things to doPerform any other duties or attend meetings as requested by management.Interact and occasionally have unsupervised contact with guests and/or colleaguesMaintain a high level of trust and responsibilityRepresent the company with certain level of reputation and good character as well as exercise sound judgement Property DetailsConveniently located 1 miles from San Antonio International Airport, this hotel features free Wi-Fi and an indoor swimming pool.
A flat-screen TV and an iPod dock are provided in each room at Home2 Suites by Hilton San Antonio Airport. The rooms are also equipped with a kitchenette, which includes a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and kitchenware.
The front desk is open 24 hours a day for your convenience. A snack bar is also available at San Antonio Airport Home2 Suites by Hilton. Other facilities include meeting facilities.
