Summary This position is located at the historic Hacienda, Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. Responsibilities Makes reservations for incoming guests based on room availability, and interviews incoming guests to determine rooms assignment. Assists clientele in the completion of required forms and registration cards. Answers questions pertaining to rules and regulations governing the assignment and use of quarters; issues room keys. Provides statement of non-availability when applicable. Posts registration information on the registration card. Orients guests concerning use of facilities and equipment, and other facilities available on post. Assists or arranges transportation. Computes charges for guests checking out, receives payments and room keys, renders receipts. Answers billing questions and concerns. Accounts for and secures cash at the end of shift. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at the level necessary to complete required reports and use a computer for work processing or data entry. Good verbal communication and customer service skills. One-year hotel front desk experience is preferred. IAW the Fort Hunter Liggett collective bargaining agreement, Night Shift Differential and Sunday Premium are not authorized for Pay band positions. Incentives and Bonuse Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
