The Brand Operations Department – Core Brands is the team that is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the hotel/customer facing brand programs and initiatives that support each brand’s strategy. As a key member of our Brand Operations Department – Core Brands, you will support the engagement and activation of Brand Programs and Initiatives designed to elevate Guest Satisfaction, Program Engagement, and Franchise Support Efficiency across a portfolio of midscale and upper midscale properties.

Your Responsibilities

Establish a collaborative, professional business relationship with hotels.Provide feedback from owner-operator engagements to Area Directors prior to hotel site visits.Listen, investigate, and document hotel owner and operator problems and provide potential improvement areas to Brand Operations, CoEs.Partner with Area Directors to implement hotel action plans and monitor completion, either generating from a hotel Service, Profitability or Total Business Review visits.Maintain current knowledge of Brand Standards. Influence and inspire Brand Standard Implementation.Support Area Directors in communicating franchisee value propositions and confirm enabling tools are in place to drive hotel performance of hotel profitability, ROC growth, and guest experience.Collaborate with Area Directors to ensure new hotels are represented correctly within applications.Participate in cross-functional projects across the organization, representing the voice of hotel.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

Associate College Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3 years previous hotel leadership experience, with Choice branded hotel experience preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Relationship builder – ability to hold franchisee owners and GMs accountable to actions with tact and poise.Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Must be able to model Choice's Values in order to be bold, be quick, listen, be curious, and act with integrity.Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Director, Brand Operations. You will have 4 peers and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Hotel Efficiency, Resource & Operations Coordinator, you will be based in our Minneapolis, MN office.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 annually.

The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
