The Fairfield Akron is looking to add a new Front Desk Agent to our team! Front Desk Agents are responsible for greeting and registering the guest providing outstanding guest service during their stay and settling the guest's account upon completion of their stay. Primary responsibilities include: registering guests making and modifying reservations hotel operator and concierge duties. Providing attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
ResponsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:
Clear communication skills for conveying information and ideas.Positive personality focused on outstanding customer service.High school diploma required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.Preferred experience in a hotel or related field.Quick and accurate decision-making abilities.Capable of working well under stress and handling workplace problems.Basic understanding of financial information and arithmetic functions.Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work a varied scheduleRESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk with warmth and friendliness.Operate the telephone switchboard and meet performance standards.Handle requests for information, mail, and messages courteously.Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.Communicate effectively with fellow associates and other hotel departments.Be aware of rates, packages, promotions, and in-house groups.Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed.Maintain high personal appearance standards, including proper uniform and name tag.Ensure regular attendance per Aimbridge Hospitality scheduling needs.Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality policies and regulations for safe operations Company OverviewAs the global leader in third-party hotel management, our growing portfolio represents over 1,550 hotels in all 50 states and 22 countries, from top international lodging brands to luxury hotels, destination resorts and lifestyle hotels.
