Overview

Working as part of a team, you do anything you can to provide a memorable experience for our guests. You are responsible for planning, organizing and executing events geared towards advancing hotel awareness through Le Meridien’s brand message with a focus on the elements of discovery. You execute all social media content strategy allowing your creative side to shine. You work closely with each Sales and Catering Manager, assisting with the creation of all marketing materials, promotions and collateral pieces. You spend a great deal of time collaborating with other departments and fostering open communication to provide the best possible guest experience for all who come through our doors.

Responsibilities

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute social media content strategy for Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.Develop, implement, and manage successful, brand-right Influencer strategy that amplifies the brand’s message across relevant audiences and leverages the credibility and unique POV of the Influencer to tell our brand story (includes paid editorial, gifting, collaborative content development and general digital communications efforts). Track and report the overall performance of various campaigns and social media platforms. Provide recommendations for ongoing adjustments.Perform website updates with creation of campaign-specific digital assets. Development of creative assets and marketing materials including collateral, promotional materials, infographics, in-house signage and wayfinding, and on-property touchpoints  Maintain hotel’s photography and video database ensuring relevant, fresh collateral is available to all on-property teams.Assist Sales and Catering Managers with creation of all marketing materials, collateral pieces and promotions.Plan and execute events and activations highlighting the brand’s message, elevating the guest experience, and deepening the hotel’s community ties.  Drive lead generation and prospect engagement by implementing multi-channel outreach strategy, including paid media, group sales promotions and outbound email campaigns. Work closely with HR to ensure that associate onboarding and training aligns with The Joseph brand experience.

 

Qualifications At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in Hotel Marketing or Hotel Sales (hospitality industry experience essential)Strong Creative MindAbility to organize eventsAbility to work proficiently quickly in a high-pressure & fast paced environmentMaintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook preferred.Experience creating and editing with Photoshop and/or inDesign (Preferred)Previous experience with Lightspeed (Preferred)Previous experience with Marriott Consolidated Inventory "CI" and MARSHA preferred.Perform other duties as requested by management.
