Job Details:

Hampton Inn & Suites is seeking Room Attendant/Inspector to join their team!  This is a dual role, 3 days as Room Attendant and 2 days as Inspector.  The rate of pay for the Room Attendant is $16.00 per hour and when working as the inspector the rate of pay is $18.00 per hour.

A Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites.     

Room Attendant Role:

Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms. Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor. Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests. Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required

 

A Room Inspector supervises cleaning personnel and inspects hotel guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and lobbies by performing the following duties.

Room Inspector Role:

Maintains cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met. Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies. Trains or re-trains staff on proper housekeeping procedures when needed. In absence of Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping department supervision. Cleans rooms and public areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper. Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.

What You Bring:

Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.  Excellent customer service skills. Able to work alone or as part of a team.  Ability to work on feet for extended periods.  Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs. And most importantly an engaging personality.
