We’re looking for an amazing Hotel Services Manager professional to fill this role, which is based at our Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge, a remote lodge in Copper Center, AK. You will be responsible for and oversee the operations of the Front Desk, Gift Shop, and Housekeeping staff. Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line and Princess is looking for in its Hotel Services Manager. Is this you? **Responsibilities:** + May manage one or more of the following hotel functions – Housekeeping, Guest Services, Luggage Services, Retail. Responsible for the customer services delivery systems, guest services, customer service and safety training programs, and financial accountability of departments. + Applies knowledge of all hotel department’s operations, responsibilities, and activities to identify customer service needs. Works with all hotel departments, managers, and staff to deliver consistent, smooth and continuous level of customer service throughout the hotel services, improve customer satisfaction ratings and to increase sales. + Monitors customer service reports, guest evaluations and comments and takes appropriate action to improve customer satisfaction, ratings and to increase sales. + Responsible for the sourcing, hiring, training and management of multiple associated departments. + Performs “Manager on Duty” responsibilities. + Prepares reports and analysis. Assists in the preparation of the annual location budget. + Applies knowledge of company policies and procedures, hotel operations, and customer service. + Responsible for the employment, supervision, performance management, salary administration, discipline, and training of directly assigned personnel. **Requirements:** + This job normally requires a professional level of knowledge in hospitality management equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree. Demonstration of directly related work experience, which has provided an equivalent breadth, and depth of knowledge may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement. + This job normally requires five years of broad, well-rounded, hospitality management experience in progressively responsible positions. + Participates in HAP’s safety culture to ensure a safe workplace for all team members and a safe vacation experience for all guests. + Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all guests, coworkers, and vendors. + Participates in HAP’s sustainability program, aka “Sustain Alaska & the Yukon”, and efforts by actively recycling (where available), reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment. + Commitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment. + Must be eligible to work in the United States.
