The Role at a glance:

The Constellation Culinary Group at the New York Botanical Garden is a premier venue specializing in dining and events, renowned for creating exceptional experiences and memorable occasions. We are looking to add a reliable and detail-oriented House Person to our team in the Bronx, NY! The House Person will support the seamless operation of our facilities by maintaining cleanliness and organization.

 

Compensation is $18-21 an hour depending on experience

What you'll be doing:

· Ensuring that all areas are clean in accordance with safety and sanitation policies.

· Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.

· Ensure all areas, including restrooms, lobbies, and dining rooms, are clean and presentable.

· Address and resolve any cleanliness or maintenance issues promptly.

· Any other tasks as assigned to ensure smooth operations and high guest satisfaction.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.

· Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and handling repetitive activities.

 

Nice-to-haves:

· Previous experience in foodservice and/or hospitality
