Key Responsibilities:
Independently test a variety of household products, following strict lab protocols to provide accurate and reliable results. Collaborate with editors, engineers, scientists, and product analysts to serve Good Housekeeping readers as a trusted resource for expert advice and top-tested products. Work alongside consumers and industry experts to gather comprehensive feedback, offering valuable insights that differentiate the GHI Approved logo from other product reviews. Ensure all testing meets the century-old standards that have made GHI a leading authority in product evaluation.This role is integral to maintaining Good Housekeeping’s reputation as a trusted source for product testing and consumer advice. You'll be part of a team that helps readers make informed decisions about the products they bring into their homes.
ABOUT YOU
A strong technical qualification in chemical/biological/physical science or equivalent on the job experience. Experience in consumer product testing, research, or development is desirable. Excellent communication skills - confident at communicating with multiple stakeholders. Computer literate – proficient in Excel Team player with a proactive, organised approach to your work to enable you to manage competing priorities Excellent time management skills, an acute eye for detail with a proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to transform product test results into jargon-free product analysis at speed Accurate and organised Effective problem-solving abilities and independent thinking Strong self-initiative and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment An inquisitive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach to professional work Excellent in-depth knowledge of the latest household product launches and trends, including consumer behaviour. Experience working with PRs to get the inside scoop on new product launches.
