**Job Title: Housekeeper** **Job Description** Candidates considered for this role will be responsible for various duties associated with working as a housekeeper in a hospital setting. They will be cleaning rooms and stations, maintaining general upkeep of facilities, and supporting hospital staff whenever needed. Candidates can expect to come in contact with soiled laundry, bodily fluids, and other hazards expected with working in a hospital. Candidates must be comfortable working around patients in the various stages of life. They will follow scripted conversations to have interactions with people throughout their shift. Customer service and pleasant interactions with patients is more than half of the job. **Responsibilities** + Clean rooms and stations in a hospital setting. + Maintain general upkeep of facilities. + Support hospital staff whenever needed. + Handle soiled laundry and bodily fluids. + Engage in scripted conversations and interactions with patients. + Provide excellent customer service and pleasant interactions with patients. **Essential Skills** + Experience in janitorial, custodial, and cleaning roles. + Strong customer service skills. + Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs. on a regular basis. + Proven track record of attendance and reliability. + Fluent English speaking comprehension. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience working as a janitor or housekeeper in a hospital, hotel, or any related industry. + Great personality suited for patient-facing interactions. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive hospital environment. They will be working around patients in various stages of life, handling soiled laundry, using cleaning supplies, and following standard operating procedures to complete room checks.
