**Job Title: EVS Housekeeper** **Job Description** Typical day: assigned to a specific floor and given a check list. Will be working in or around empty patient rooms. Must be comfortable with this environment. Cleaning duties would include cleaning public restrooms, wash sinks and counters, garbage, refill supplies. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping linens from beds and pushing to laundry shoot. Making beds. Other tasks as required. If cleaning patient occupied rooms will follow a conversation script introducing themselves, letting them know they will be cleaning their room, and asking if they need anything additional. If the patient needs something, will convey to nurse/doctor. This role offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development. **Work Environment** You will be working in a team of 20-25 employees during the day, with a smaller team during the swing/night shift. The role requires wearing a scrub top and other appropriate PPE depending on the hospital area. The standard shift is Sun-Thur from 6am-2:30pm, with initial training for the first two weeks on a Mon-Fri shift from 6am-2:30pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hood River, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
