\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY
\n\nA working supervisor; reports directly to the General Manager and assists with Housekeeping
staff schedules and duties; orders supplies and equipment as needed. Also performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain Symphony Honolulu’s premises in a clean, orderly, and
attractive condition. Maintains housekeeping carts and linen closets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\n\n Essential Job Duties \nPrepares and equips work cart. Replenishes used cleaning material; stocks cart withproper cleaning equipment, cleaning aids, and tools. \nCleans and inspects assigned area of responsibility: \nPerforms general cleaning chores including glass table tops and panels, \n\n
windows, furniture, and cushions. Vacuums or mops floors as needed.
\n\nEmpties rubbish receptacles; cleans and mops elevator landing area and cabs \n\nand public/employee rest rooms.
\n\nMoves and arranges furniture and polishes metal work, as needed. \nInspects and cleans trash chute landings. \nInspects and cleans BBQ cabanas, Social Room, The Lounge, Therapy Room, \n\nFitness Center and restrooms, Guest Suites and Pool Amenities.
\n\n\n\nPerforms detailed cleaning and servicing for all guest suites. \nReports major discrepancies to Management. \nRecords work performed daily. Enters and reports all unusual situations toManagement. \nAlerts Residential Advisors of suspicious people in the guest area. \nMarginal Job Duties: \nReturns to the housekeeping storage areas periodically to ensure that the work
cart is properly equipped and stocked. \nLaunders work rags and other cleaning essentials, as directed. \nPerforms other related duties, as directed or required\n\n
SUPERVISION
\n\n\n Supervision Exercised: \n\n\nExercises indirect supervision of all subordinate Housekeeping personnel.
\n\n\n Supervision Received: \n\n\nReceives direct supervision from the General Manager.
\n\n Requirements\n Experience: \n\n\nAt least (3) years of Hospitality or condominium housekeeping experience required.
\n\n\n Knowledge: \n\n\nAbility to read, write and understand simple verbal or written instructions. Knowledge
\nof the proper use of cleaning fluids and solvents preferred. On-the-job training provided for new hires.
\n\n\n Education/Training: \n\n\nHigh School diploma preferred.
