As a Housekeeper, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe environment throughout our facilities. Your responsibilities include regular cleaning, maintaining hygiene in shared spaces, and supporting various cleaning tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Trash Removal: Remove trash daily throughout the agency.Facility Cleaning: Clean staff break room, copy room, conference room, and group rooms; clean all interior and exterior glass doors daily.Floor Maintenance: Vacuum all carpeted hallways and high-traffic areas daily; sweep and mop all tiled areas daily.Bathroom Sanitation: Clean all bathrooms daily, sanitizing toilets/sinks, sweeping/mopping floors, and stocking supplies.Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture in various rooms daily; vacuum carpeted individual offices and sweep/mop tiled offices on a rotating schedule.Surface Cleaning: Wipe down walls, baseboards, and chair rails in hallways and offices.Outdoor Cleanliness: Empty outside building trash containers daily; clean office window sills monthly and interior windows as needed.Goal Alignment: Demonstrate interest in the long and short-term goals and objectives of ‘The System’.Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Executive Team Members.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, equipment, materials, and supplies related to cleaning.Extensive knowledge of safety practices and principles related to maintenance activities including applicable laws or regulations.Capable of effective communication and interaction with coworkers, managers, subordinates, and the general public.

Experience and/or Education Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment history with an emphasis on Housekeeping experience.

Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of a background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.

Physical Requirements:

ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve brief periods of walking or standing.
