**Overview** We are looking for a **Housekeeper** to join our Classic 55+ independent Senior Living cooperative community. in Altoona, Iowa! This position provides a clean, safe and pleasant environment for tenants, staff and visitors. When you come to work at an Ebenezer community, we strive to support your growth, honor your strengths and empower you to make a difference in the lives of others._ **Responsibilities/Job Description** + Cleans common areas of community as assigned + Performs job duties safely, using correct body mechanics and personal protective equipment + Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies + Ensures timely and efficient turnover of apartments + Participates actively in team meetings, reports on current state in the Community, providing feedback on housekeeping-related items as they arise + Promotes a safe environment for staff, tenants and visitors + Performs other duties as assigned and directed **Qualifications** + Ability to work independently, show attention to detail, multi-task and maintain confidentiality + Previous experience, especially in a similar environment preferred but not required + High school Diploma/GED preferred + Ability to utilize software programs in order to complete work functions + Experience utilizing software programs such as Educare or TELS in order to complete necessary job functions **Need help finding the right job?** We can recommend jobs specifically for you!
