Job Description:

The Environmental Services Technician I is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.

Job Duties:

Follows all infection prevention practices (i.e. proper cleaning and disinfection protocols and process, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions, as well as proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Assumes responsibility for daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment as assigned and other common areas of assignment.Adheres to all organization safety, risk management and infection control guidelines and standards while promoting a culture of safety.Reports any unsafe conditions and/or repairs needed in a timely manner, i.e., document EVS/Maintenance concerns such as stained ceiling tiles, paint, floor care, dispenser issues, etc.Performs specialty tasks per facility needs, including, but not limited to, conference room set up/dismantle according to function sheets and schedules, cleaning of stairwells and elevators, and hanging of cubicle curtains.

Requirements:

No experience required

Preferred Requirements:

1-2 years of Customer Service, 1-2 years of Hospitality, and/or 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience
