For a limited time MaineHealth is offering $2,000 sign on bonuses for Housekeepers:

$1000 within 30 days of start, $500 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible;
former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

 

Mid Coast Thornton Oaks is searching for a Housekeeper; which is responsible for the daily cleaning and supplying of resident rooms, wards, nursing stations, corridors, lounges, floors, bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with the Standard Procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with the facility’s objectives.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: High School diploma preferred. License/Certifications: N/A. Experience:  N/A Ability to listen and communicate well Possess a cheerful demeanor and positive attitude for dealing with elderly residents. Able to physically perform all duties (stamina). Able to read, write and speak the English language in order to read Hazard Communications/MSDS labels/warnings
