**Janitor** **Job Description** As a Janitor, you will be responsible for deep cleaning non-occupied patient rooms, including making the bed, flipping the mattress, and thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the entire room. You will also clean isolation rooms following strict safety measures. This position requires lifting and handling heavy bags of linens. You will work either the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM or the 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7 AM, with rotating weekends. **Responsibilities** + Clean non-occupied patient rooms within 20-30 minutes. + Make beds and flip mattresses in patient rooms. + Thoroughly clean and disinfect entire rooms. + Handle and lift large, heavy bags of linens. + Clean isolation rooms following strict safety measures. + Thoroughly mop floors using a string mop. + Wear full gown and mask while cleaning isolation rooms. **Essential Skills** + Strong attendance record. + Punctuality and reliability to work required hours and shifts. + Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, nurses, doctors, and housekeeping team. + Exceptional customer service skills for working with difficult individuals. + Ability to lift 50 lbs and push 200 lbs. + At least 6 months of previous hospital or hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Direct experience in hospitals is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team in a hospital setting where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness play a critical role in patient care.
