**Job Title: Housekeeper** **Job Description** Performs all routine, terminal, and isolation cleaning on a timely basis, including high/low dusting, wall/ceiling/vent/lighting cleaning, cleaning of restroom facilities, and floor care. Removes and transports trash and medical infectious waste. Moves furniture and other equipment. Cleans different areas up to and including the emergency room, operating rooms, offices, public bathrooms, clinics, nurses stations, exam rooms, and more. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine, terminal, and isolation cleaning on a timely basis. + Conduct high/low dusting, wall/ceiling/vent/lighting cleaning. + Clean restroom facilities and perform floor care. + Remove and transport trash and medical infectious waste. + Move furniture and other equipment as needed. + Clean various areas including emergency rooms, operating rooms, offices, public bathrooms, clinics, nurses stations, and exam rooms. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. + Ability to stand for 8 hours. + Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, hearing, and comprehending English. + Stable work history with jobs held for at least 6 months. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred six months of cleaning/housekeeping experience. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy long-term contracts with annual raises based on review. Receive holiday pay and accrue paid time off (PTO) as follows: 0-1 year: None, 1-2 years: 40 hours, 2-3 years: 80 hours, 3+ years: 120 hours. **Work Environment** Locations include Kenosha Medical Center in Kenosha, WI, and St. Catherine's in Kenosha, WI. You will be working with and/or near patients and hospital staff, frequently exposed to medical infectious waste. The role involves frequent pushing, pulling, and transporting of heavy objects, equipment, and furniture. Continuous physical position changes are required to accommodate the cleaning of environmental surfaces. Occasionally, you will climb stepladders to clean light fixtures, vents, windows, and cubicle drapes. Frequent kneeling and stooping are required to clean areas and items such as bathtubs, shower stalls, plumbing, stairs, baseboards, legs of furniture, wheels of furniture, wringing out wet mops, and removal of trash from containers.
